Not so long ago in the arsenal of cosmetologists and doctors of other specialties, another method of influencing body tissues using alternating electric current appeared – it is called hivamat by the name of the corresponding apparatus for carrying out the procedure, either GLOS-therapy or deep oscillation. Due to the deep effect of tissue development, hivamat is effectively used in some postoperative conditions, trophic disorders, many problems with muscle and tissue tone, having a beneficial effect on the skin and the whole body.
How hivamat affects the skin – the essence of the method
The essence of the hivamat technique is that small electrical impulses pass between the applicator and the patient's skin, causing variable frequency oscillations. At the same time, body tissues under the influence of these vibrations and in a given rhythm are either attracted or repelled from the applicator. Fluctuations cover tissues quite deeply, accelerating metabolic processes in the skin, stimulating the work of blood vessels, affecting adipose and connective tissue, providing a drainage effect.
The parameters of the depth and intensity of exposure are regulated by the doctor conducting the procedure, depending on the indications for its implementation. The change in vibration frequency causes the tissues of the body to either vibrate, or be slightly shaken, or experience a suction effect.
Indications for which Hivamat is particularly effective
Among the medical indications that have become relevant after the advent of the hivamat technique and in which its use has an excellent effect, it should be noted:
- pain in trauma, myositis, osteochondrosis;
- sprains, arthrosis, hematomas;
- venous circulation disorders;
- pressure sores, trophic ulcers;
- post-operative rehabilitation.
- In cosmetology hivamat allows you to solve the following problems:
- correction of body contours;
- cellulite control;
- treatment of scratches, burns, abrasions, other violations of the integrity of the skin;
- fight against fat traps.
Skin exposure using the hivamat technique allows you to get the following effects:
- anti-inflammatory – by accelerating cell regeneration and healing wounds;
- decongestant – with drainage effect, stimulation of lymph flow and strengthening of vascular walls;
- increasing tissue elasticity – due to the alternating effect of current pulses.
Hivamat is perfectly combined with other types of skin treatments, enhancing the effectiveness of cosmetic procedures.
