The recent exhibition "Estet Beauty Expo 2016" was distinguished by a huge number of master classes, and the guests who gathered at the International Exhibition Center could learn new methods of cosmetology procedures under the guidance of specialists. It was especially crowded at the master classes, which were held by Teoxane.

What procedures is your master class at the exhibition devoted to?
The procedure is dedicated to the complex correction of the middle third of the face, the periorbital zone, that is, we directly made up for the lack of soft tissues of the patient, and in the area of the middle third of the zygomatic zone, we corrected the problem that almost every one of our European patients has – tear trough.
This procedure is really relevant for our patients, because it allows you to correct a tired and haggard type of face, give the patient a more rested look, an open look.
We also corrected one of the most popular zones– nasolabial folds. Indeed, most patients come to us with this problem. It is not always possible to correct such deformities quickly. But, nevertheless, at the master class we carried out a correction of the middle third and zygomatic zone, we corrected the lacrimal grooves and injected the patient with a drug to correct the nasolabial folds.
I performed the correction procedure with a cannula. It is very convenient for work and allows you to provide maximum comfort for the doctor and patient, and also makes it possible to process several zones on the face from one access point. Another advantage of working with cannulas – this is the absence of hematomas on the patient's face after the procedure, which means the minimum period of rehabilitation after the introduction of fillers, which allows the patient to quickly return to everyday social life – go to work almost the next day and demonstrate the excellent result of cosmetic correction.
What age of patients is the procedure designed for?
It's a tough question every time – about the age of the patients. We adjust the appearance of the patient not in accordance with passport data, but based on his needs. The reasons for which face correction is carried out can be divided into two groups: these are age indications and aesthetic wishes. Perhaps, under the influence of the media, there are more and more people who want to improve their appearance. Moreover, this is not necessarily rejuvenation, but, say, the correction of facial asymmetry, which also happens in young patients. Pronounced asymmetry may be associated with some kind of injury or disease, and from the point of view of aesthetic perception, it introduces an irregularity into the facial features, which is acutely experienced by the patient. Contour correction implies an instant effect – it can be seen immediately after the introduction of the filler. Therefore, the number of procedures depends on the age of the patient, his individual characteristics and capabilities. Sometimes the number of procedures is calculated taking into account the patient's psychological perception of contour correction: if he is afraid of injections or is afraid of the filler itself, then you can perform the procedure with a small amount of gel and give the patient the opportunity to evaluate the result, and then carry out additional correction.
In addition, the doctor must remember that correction with fillers should not be conspicuous, the patient's face after the procedure should look absolutely natural and harmonious, and therefore in some cases it is worth starting contour correction with the introduction of a small amount of the drug and then appointing an additional visit to the patient for the purpose of additional correction.
If a patient still has concerns about contouring, how can they be reassured?
Probably a good remedy for such a patient would be to show photographs of other people who had similar problems, but they were successfully solved by the procedure. Understanding that in ten minutes a doctor can solve the problem of appearance, which has been haunting for a long time – this is a good argument in favor of the procedure.
Is there a recovery period for contour correction?
As a rule, the final result of the procedure can be assessed after two to three weeks. But it depends, of course, on the individual characteristics of the patient. In addition, it is not at all necessary to stay at home all this time, since the procedure is carried out with a cannula and has minimal side effects. In the morning after the correction, a slight swelling on the face will remain, although it is noticed, most often, only by the patient himself. But others notice only that the person looks much more rested and refreshed than before.
Do you personally enjoy facial contouring procedures?
Yes, I love this type of procedure, because I see that such a face correction changes not only the appearance of the patient, but also his inner state. After the correction, the patient begins to perceive himself differently, becomes more confident in his abilities and even, perhaps, a little happier.
