Patient after blepharoplasty. The reason for the appeal is dissatisfaction with the aesthetic result of a previous similar operation by another surgeon.
During diagnostics, the following issues were identified:
Upper eyelid:
- skeletonization of the upper eyelid (too much fat removed);
- incorrect - too high - location of the fold of the upper eyelid, the so-called A-deformation of the shape of the upper eyelid;
- excess skin left on the upper eyelid;
- Sutures from incisions on the upper eyelid are visible.
Lower eyelid:
- tear trough problems not corrected;
- excess skin present on the lower eyelid;
- drooping lower eyelid, outer corner of the eye vector pointing downwards;
- lower eyelid lowered below the aesthetically correct level, namely below the iris;
- visible scar on the lower eyelid.
Result after revision blepharoplasty
To correct the above problems, the patient underwent a second upper eyelid plasty to move the eyelid fold to the correct anatomical position and upper eyelid lipofilling to correct skeletalization and create the correct volume of the upper eyelids.
On the lower eyelid, a canthopexy was performed - to raise and fix the outer corner of the eye, lipofilling of the lower eyelid to rejuvenate and create additional support for the lateral corner of the eye. As a result, all complications that arose as a result of the first blepharoplasty were corrected.
