Механизм действия липолитических препаратов при мезодиссолюции

Fat cells are an important part of the body. But when fat deposits are large, there are a lot of them, then this spoils the figure, the overall appearance, and, accordingly, the patient's self-esteem and mood. Modern cosmetology offers procedures and techniques that can reduce body fat and overcome cellulite.

mesotherapy and mesodissolution are very popular. Also, in order to eliminate fat deposits, lymphatic drainage massage, electrolipolysis, honey massage, hydromassage, ozone therapy and other procedures are performed depending on the patient's situation. Mesodissolution is a new type of mesotherapy. Read more on estet-portal.com what are the differences between mesotherapy and mesodissolution, as well as the mechanism of action of lipolytics on tissues.

Mesotherapy and mesodissolution: aspects of implementation

Mesotherapy procedure involves administration of preparations or their mixtures under the skin in microscopic doses to a depth of 0.5-6 mm. For this, very thin and short needles are used. In this way the skin receives vitamins, vasodilators, amino acids that it needs. After that, the skin becomes fresh, wrinkles decrease, its elasticity increases, skin structure is restored, scars and stretch marks decrease, cellulite manifestations decrease. Acne is treated with mesotherapy.

Mesodissolution is a type of mesotherapy that is aimed at treating cellulite, as well as reducing the volume of local deposits of adipocytes. In case of mesodissolution, a lipolytic drug is injected under the skin at a great depth using a plurality of microinjections . The depth of drug injection on the face is up to 8 mm, in the body area 10-13 mm.

What are the main differences between mesodissolution and mesotherapy

It is important to explain to the patient that mesodissolution is not the main treatment for cellulite. Before the start of the sessions, it is necessary to take a course of lymphatic drainage massage. The mesodissolution procedure has its own indications and contraindications. Therefore, the cosmetologist before the procedure must collect the patient's history, and then draw up an individual plan for him, taking into account the differences between this procedure and mesotherapy.

Differences between mesodissolution and mesotherapy:

  • The main difference between mesotherapy and mesodissolution is that mesotherapy is aimed at reducing the volume of adipocytes, while after mesodissolution the effect is achieved due to their removal.
  • The difference lies in the drugs administered. Whereas in mesotherapy a pure lipolytic is used, for mesodissolution preparations are used with water for injections in large volumes. This results in a hypoosmolar solution that is injected at a great depth, which leads to the destruction of fatty deposits. Therefore, mesodissolution is also called non-surgical liposuction.
  • With the help of mesotherapy, the weight and volume of the whole body is reduced. Mesodissolution is necessary for removal of local fat deposits (fat deposits in the arms, abdomen, riding breeches, second chin).

During mesodissolution, the patient can be injected with several drugs at once, which the cosmetologist will individually select. This increases the effect of the procedure. After mesodissolution, the patient needs to take courses of additional procedures – cavitation,  pressotherapy, hydromassage.

Mechanism of action of lipolytic drugs in mesodissolution

During mesodissolution, the drug or cocktails from them are injected directly into the focus, the effect is point-like, and directed directly at fat deposits.

For mesodissolution, hypoosmolar cocktails are prepared, which include vasodilators, anti-inflammatory drugs, as well as substances that improve tissue structure, prevent fat accumulation, and also renew collagen.

Among these drugs, calcitonin, procaine, lidocaine, thiocolchicoside, sodium deoxycholate, caffeine, alkaxanthin, and vitamin complexes are often used. Cocktails are administered in large volumes and at great depths, directly into problem areas.

After the administration of lipolytic cocktails, osmotic pressure occurs in adipocytes, resulting in rupture of the fat cell membrane. The decay products enter the lymph and are excreted by the liver and kidneys. This process occurs because in adipocytes there are fatty acids and lipids in high concentration, that is, the adipocyte has high osmolarity-300 milliosmol/l, and hypoosmolar solution has an osmolarity of 120 milliosmol/l.

Effects after mesodissolution:

  • skin is smoothed;
  • the "orange peel" effect is gone;
  • fibrosis is eliminated;
  • swelling decreases;
  • inflammatory processes subside;
  • skin turgor increases.

Manifestations of cellulite after the mesodissolution procedure become invisible, as the causes of its appearance are eliminated – structural changes in the subcutaneous fat layer, impaired lymph drainage and blood microcirculation.

Based on the results of the study, mesodissolution has a pronounced effect in the treatment of cellulite in 90% of patients after only three sessions.
