A study was conducted in dermatology to investigate the clinical efficacy of cryomassage with liquid nitrogen of the skin of the face in the affected areas after the disappearance of signs of inflammation to reduce the duration of use of ointments for the treatment of perioral dermatitis, and accelerate the onset of aesthetic comfort.

The investigators observed 35 patients (all women aged 18 to 53 years) with perioral dermatitis. Topical glucocorticosteroid therapy was intended for patients with the following skin conditions: acne, rosacea, eczema.
Triggers of exacerbation and occurrence of perioral dermatitis
