Cold wraps help narrow pores and blood vessels, as a result of which lymph outflow occurs in the tissues, which carries away toxins and wastes. With hot wraps, they are usually removed through the pores, and with cold wraps, the blood and lymph carry toxins through the liver and kidneys. As a result, excess fluid is drained, skin tone and metabolism improve, the body begins to break down fats (its reserve energy source).
Cold wraps are effective for the treatment of cellulite, swelling, and also as first aid for fighting stretch marks or fatigue in the legs, they increase skin elasticity and cleanse the body of toxins.

Recipes for cold wraps at home:
Vinegar Wrap
Mix drinking water and vinegar in equal proportions, add a couple of drops of mint, lemon or orange essential oil. Soak bandages in this solution and wrap them around the skin, then secure them with cling film.
Oil wrap
For such wraps you will need 50 ml of almond or olive oil. Add 3 drops of lemon essential oil, 2 drops of juniper oil or 2 drops of grapefruit oil to the selected oil. In this mixture, it is worth soaking the bandages and wrapping them around the skin.
Potato Wrap
Potatoes are one of the best remedies for edema and an excellent lymphatic drainage agent. Grate potatoes to form gruel. This slurry must be put on a film and wrapped with problem areas of the body.
Kelp wrap
Pour the required number of kelp plates with water at room temperature (18-20 degrees) at the rate of a liter of water per 100 g of kelp. Then leave them to soak for half an hour. Wrap problem areas with soaked kelp and fix with wrapping film.
Wrap with agar-agar
Agar-agar is hard to find in stores, but easy to get online. Mix 1 tbsp. l. agar-agar with 20 drops of camphor oil and 2 beaten yolks. Apply the resulting composition to the skin and wrap with a film.
Preparation for a cold wrap and the number of procedures to achieve the desired effect does not differ from hot: clean the skin with a scrub, apply the prepared composition and wrap it with cling film on top. You will not need warm clothes, a bathrobe or a blanket for a cold wrap. The composition is recommended to be left on the body from 30 minutes to one and a half hours, it should be washed off in the shower, after which a moisturizing or nourishing cream must be applied to the skin. For a long-lasting effect of such a mask, choose a cooling cream. Just like hot wraps, cold wraps are recommended to be carried out in a course consisting of 12-14, which are carried out every other day. The break between such courses should be one or one and a half months.
