Липосакция: главная цель – обворожительная фигура

Liposuction – is a procedure that aims to surgically remove excess fat deposits using a tube and vacuum. To make the removal of fat cells as efficient and painless as possible, the surgeon preliminarily prepares the corrected area for the operation: injects saline, injects anesthetic and adrenaline to minimize pain and bleeding. This increases the comfort of the procedure, makes the collection of fat cells not only easier, but also safer. In addition, this preparation significantly reduces the recovery period, as well as minimizes the appearance of bruising and swelling.

Which problem areas can be improved with liposuction?

Most often, liposuction is performed in the cheeks and chin, neck, upper arms and chest, abdomen, buttocks, thighs, knees and ankles. For each of these zones, due to individual physiological characteristics, the doctor chooses his own type of liposuction — classical, laser or ultrasonic. What are their differences? Classical liposuction is performed using a hollow tube with a vacuum. Fat harvesting is performed directly, while the other two types of procedure use laser energy or an ultrasound signal to break down fat before it is removed.

Reducing fat with liposuction:
•    how long the procedure itself and recovery after;
•    rehabilitation features: hospital and side effects;
•    when the new face and body contour can be seen;
•    in the long term: how long the result will last.

How long does the procedure itself and recovery after?

Many patients who have already decided on liposuction, re-read a lot of material about its pros and cons, and even chose a suitable clinic, do not cease to worry about the most frequently asked question: how long does a liposuction procedure take on average? We answer: two or three hours, in especially difficult cases — more.

The duration of the procedure itself and the postoperative rehabilitation period directly depends on the anesthetic used.

By the way, anesthesia during liposuction is different: most often general anesthesia is used, however, there are cases when local anesthesia is also used.

Peculiarities of rehabilitation: hospital and side effects

After liposuction, you do not need to stay in the clinic under supervision — and after a few hours the patient can return home. Side effects include bruising, swelling, loss of sensation due to temporary damage to nerve endings, and burning sensation. The patient should be made aware of the potential risks, such as: infectious complications, slight tissue asymmetry after the procedure, changes in pigmentation (possibly postoperative hypo- or hyperpigmentation), scars, slow fluid outflow, intense bleeding.

When will the new face and body contour be seen?

Fortunately for the patient, postoperative rehabilitation does not take long – and very soon after the procedure, he can actively enjoy the new body and himself.

On average, after liposuction, a person can return to their usual schedule after 5-14 days.

Full physical activity without the risk of injury to the sutures and other negative consequences is allowed as early as two to four weeks after the initial healing. In order for the hematomas and puffiness to completely disappear, you will have to wait a little longer — from one month to six months: it all depends on the complexity of the operated area and how much fat was removed during the procedure.

Liposuction in the long term: how long will the result last?

To maintain the result of liposuction, the patient is advised to follow a diet. Moderate but regular physical activity will only be a plus.

Before undergoing liposuction, it is very important to take into account all possible risks and complications. It is important to remember that the results of the procedure are not eternal, and only if the patient adheres to a healthy lifestyle can they be preserved for a long time. Therefore, a balanced diet, a moderately active lifestyle and smiling optimism will play a plus in beauty like nothing else.
