Like with any other food — sporty and not very — with  protein drinks, it is important to observe the measure.

In addition, you should remember about the percentage of proteins, fats and carbohydrates in the diet: exceeding the proportion of protein by more than ⅓ must be agreed with the doctor.




This requirement is due to the peculiarities of protein cleavage: in the process of all "transformations" in the human body, it forms special compounds that are excreted through the kidneys. Accordingly, in case of kidney disease or poor-quality work, taking a large amount of protein can cause increased stress on these organs.

As you can see, the rules for drinking protein shakes are simple and don require little effort from you. But they will help increase the effectiveness of this drink, the productivity of your workouts and eliminate any health risks.
