For the first time ever, recommendations have been made at the state level regarding the optimal portion size and ratio of all food categories. They were developed taking into account the experience of the most progressive countries in the world and approved by the Ministry of Health as the most optimal and affordable in everyday life.
The first plate of a healthy diet formed the basis of the national information platform "About Health", which is designed to remind the importance of healthy nutrition. It was developed by specialists within the framework of the Healthy Eating Guidelines program, which was established by the Ministry of Health. Based on the experience of other developed countries, they managed to make these recommendations understandable and affordable from a financial point of view for the daily menu.

Experts recommend daily consumption of foods from all 7 food groups:

•    Vegetables (healthy

complex carbohydrates) and a variety of legumes (300g of vegetables in 4 – 5 meals and 75g of legumes). •    Meat, various types of fish, eggs. So, it is necessary to include fish dishes in the diet (2-3 times a week). Of all types of meat, it is desirable to give preference to poultry. Don't be afraid to add 1 – 2 eggs – they are very useful for the body.
•    Nuts, a variety of seeds and whole grains. It is advisable for a woman to consume 70 g of whole grains per day, for a man – 90 g, as well as 2 tablespoons of various nuts and seeds.
•    Do not ignore oil and healthy fats: daily a person needs up to 70 g of olive, sunflower, linseed or corn oil.
•    Sour-milk and dairy products: 3 or at least 2.5 servings per day.
•    Berries and fruits are rich in vitamins and fiber, but they should not exceed 300 g in two meals a day.

A balanced diet also includes drinking the required amount of drinking water (4% of body weight) and limiting the amount of sugar (no more than 50 g) and sea salt (up to 5 g) per day.
