You should start your spa evening with a preparatory stage:

  • Dim the lights, turn on the lamps with warm yellow light, light the candles, the aroma lamp. Don prepare the bathroom.

  • Prepare a large towel for the body and a few small ones for the face and hair, a headband and roller for the head (can be rolled from towel), a comfortable robe.

  • Play relaxing music. Lounge style, light jazz, nature sounds or yoga music are great.

  • In advance, prepare all the ingredients for spa treatments at home. It can be both professional cosmetics and homemade recipes.

  • Make green or any herbal tea, cut fruit.

  • Do some exercise of yoga and deep breaths.

Spa body treatments

Body treatments can be started with a warm bath. Take water, add a few drops of essential oils, rose petals or sea salt to it. Now you can soak in the bath 15-20 minutes and make a full body massage with a brush.

After the bath, pat your body dry with a towel and apply the scrub to skin barely damp skin. You can make it yourself:

  • Mix coffee grounds with sour cream or olive oil. You can add honey or sugar.

  • 0.5 cup sea salt + 1 tablespoon honey.

  • Oatmeal dipped in a little water. You can add honey or sour cream.

  • 2 st. spoons of rice flour (blend long-grain rice in a blender) + 1 teaspoon of honey.

The scrub should be applied to the entire surface of the body with soft massage movements, then rinsed off in the shower. Now it's time to move on to the wraps. The wrapping mask makes the skin more elastic and removes toxins. It can be made from clay, chocolate, seaweed, honey, fruit, or natural yogurt.

Wrap Recipes:

  • Cut the fruit and make a mush out of it.

  • Pour hot water over cocoa powder, cool.

  • Break oatmeal, mix it with natural yogurt.

  • Dilute dry kelp algae in hot water, let it brew, add a few drops of essential oil and 1 egg yolk.

Apply the finished mixture on the body or only problem areas, wrap yourself in cling film and wrap yourself in a soft towel or blanket. Rest 20-30 minutes. Then wash off the mask with warm water and apply a nourishing body cream or body butter 

Spa facials

Make a steam bath for your face with the addition of herbs (chamomile, mint, sage are suitable for all skin types). This will open the pores and prepare the skin for further treatments.

Now you need to cleanse your face with a scrub:

  • Soda + honey is suitable for oily skin.

  • Crushed oatmeal + cream is good for dry skin.

  • Salt + sour cream — for normal skin.

After the scrub, apply a mask on face:

  • Dilute pharmacy clay with water and apply for 10-15 minutes on face.

  • Mash the banana and strawberries with a fork. Apply to face for 10 minutes.

  • Nourishing mask: mix 1 yolk, lemon juice and 1 tbsp. a spoonful of olive oil.

Apply the mask on your face, lie down on the sofa, and put cotton pads soaked in tea leaves or a compress of chamomile infusion on eyes. Rinse off the mask with warm water and apply face cream.

Hand foot spa treatments

Prepare a bath for your hands and feet. It can be made from infusion of herbs or add essential oils to water. Then use a scrub (for example, mix sugar with  grape seed oil) and  apply a nourishing cream.

If the skin of the hands has become especially dry, make an oil bath: dip your hands in warm olive or almond oil for 10 minutes. Then blot with a paper towel, do not rinse.

To soften the rough skin of the legs, after the bath, treat the feet with a pumice stone and make a mask: 1 st. mix a spoonful of oatmeal with  1 tbsp. a spoonful of honey, olive oil. Mix the ingredients, heat in the microwave, apply the mask on the feet, wrap them with cling film and put on cotton socks. Leave 10-15 minutes, rinse with warm water and apply a nourishing cream.

Spa treatments for feet and hands can be completed with a manicure and pedicure.

The peculiarity of a spa vacation is that you relax and enjoy the way how you spend your time. To do this, try to make less fuss and apply whatever cosmetics are available to you.
