Almost every woman dreams of keeping her face young for as long as possible. And there are enough funds for this. One of them in modern cosmetology is a thread lift. Earlier we already told you about two types of threads. Today we will continue to introduce you to other types of these products.

Thread lift "Happy lift"

Threads "Happy lift" – absorbable, made from polydiaxone and treated with polylactic acid. Similar to the Aptos threads that we talked about last time, there are notches on the threads. The thickness of one strand is about twice the size of a hair.

Polydiaxone resolves within 6-9 months, but due to the acid with which it is treated, a fibrous capsule forms around the thread and performs the function of a thread lift for about half a year.

Non-surgical thread lift "Happy lift" is performed in such a way as to eliminate the risk of generalization due to infection and other inflammatory reactions.

The benefits of a "Happy lift" thread lift are:

  • Biodegradable. After the threads dissolve, no foreign substances remain in the body.

Cons include:

  • Small expiration date. In addition to the fact that the threads themselves dissolve, the notches weaken them more than they reduce the duration of the lift.

Rehabilitation conditions and time

The procedure for inserting threads for a facelift takes a little more than half an hour and under local anesthesia. Rehabilitation will take from a week to ten days. The duration of the effect is approximately one and a half to two years.

Tissulift threads

In the mid-90s, Nikolai Serdev, a plastic surgeon from Bulgaria, invented his own technology for a non-surgical facelift with threads.

This method of facelift with threads is based on the use of non-absorbable threads. For the manufacture of such a thread, three materials are used at once: polyamide, silicone and polyurethane. All these materials do not cause rejection reactions. Such a thread is placed in the form of a loop, which tightens and holds a certain area of the skin.

Unlike other non-surgical lifting technologies, in this method, the threads are attached directly to the bone structures. Doctors note that this procedure can serve as an excellent prevention of age-related changes if a facelift is performed before the age of 40.

The advantages of "Tissulift" thread lift include:

  • elimination of most manifestations of ptosis on the face;
  • the possibility of increasing the volume of the zygomatic region;
  • possibility of raising the lips, corners of the eyes and eyebrows;
  • lasting effect of the procedure;
  • Easy removal of smooth threads in case of problems without injury to tissues and skin.

Disadvantages of "Tissulift" threads:

  • Incisions must be made for the procedure;
  • possible manifestation of the effect of hypercorrection, which can last up to two months.

Rehabilitation conditions and time

The Tissulift procedure can be performed under local or general anesthesia. The amount and type of anesthesia depends on the location and volume of the area to be lifted.

After the procedure, rehabilitation takes place within two weeks. In this case, the effect after it can last up to four years.

The popularity of non-surgical thread lifting is increasing all the time. Moreover, not only patients are interested in it, but also plastic surgeons. To date, cosmetology can help with threads for lifting only those who have slight sagging tissues. For others, this option is painfully short-lived. But plastic surgery is constantly evolving, and perhaps soon non-surgical braces will solve more serious problems.
