- Edgar, tell me what is important to remember for a novice doctor, regardless of his specialization, in order to become a successful professional?

- Invest in your education and reputation. These are inseparable concepts that will bring you good dividends in the future.

- How to become an entrepreneur while still being a doctor?

- The task of any doctor – to treat, to help solve a specific problem of your patient related to health, beauty -  if we are talking about aesthetic surgery. This must always be remembered. If you want to make good money, then you, among other things, need to think like a manager. Not all of us have this quality, but it can be successfully developed. Lack of practices, courses, trainings, literature – no. Learn. True, between you "doctor" and you "manager" there must be a reasonable balance. You can't earn at any cost. Honesty – main tool. Learn to tell the truth to the patient. If the technique does not suit him, it is better to refuse than to take it on and as a result get negative, dissatisfied.

- There are many practices, but where should I start?

- For a novice doctor, it is important to change the attitude towards oneself. Now patients go to the doctor, not to the clinic. They follow your experience because you have a reputation, because you know how to communicate… You need to work on this if you want people to come to you. 

- What is difficult in private practice?

- It is necessary to stock up on perseverance. At the very beginning of the journey, you work like a clockwork.  And while not  you reach the level you determined at the beginning of the path, there is no right to stop.

- How do you think  in today's difficult economic conditions, is it possible to retain clients and increase the profit of the clinic?

- In short, I have already touched on this topic. Be open, tell the truth to patients, discuss the risks with them and do not give hope in vain. The cost of a mistake is one in ten: each negative review equals 10 lost customers.

- Not so long ago you organized and held a master class where you talked about lip augmentation techniques, how do you manage to find all the time? 

- I try to find a balance between family, work, social activities. It's difficult, but so far I've been able to do it. I am energized by the people who surround me, my family inspires me.

"Lip augmentation. No secrets"  - this was the first master class that I held for practicing and novice doctors, aesthetic surgeons and cosmetologists. At the end of February, the second master class will take place, a two-day one:  "Business + Practice 2016". This time we invited practicing Ukrainian and foreign plastic surgeons, dentists, cosmetologists – business owners and PR people.

On the first day – "Business Saturday" - we will share experience, tell how representatives of our profession can earn money, start their own business. On the second day, experts will demonstrate & nbsp; individual techniques for each area of ​​the face, which allow injections to be made quickly, efficiently and without complications.

The main advantage of master classes is that they are not biased. I have no goal to advertise any technique, drug, company.  We discuss openly and honestly everything we work with. As a result, after our first meeting, 30% of the specialists who attended the master class changed their working methods to the one I proposed. And this, among other things, is the answer to the question – what inspires me.
