Научная красота: FILORGA MEDICAL становится FILLMED

Aesthetic medicine is becoming more and more accessible. According to a recent study (poll conducted by Filorga among 1,000 women in France in March 2016), 62% of French women now believe that aesthetic medicine can improve the patient's well-being and view of aging.

At least 1 in 10 women say they have had aesthetic medicine procedures and 25% plan to do so in the future.

As innovators providing solutions in the field of aesthetic medicine for 40 years, in 2019 FILORGA MEDICAL is turning a new page in its history to remain competitive in an ever-evolving market.

To celebrate its 40th anniversary, FILORGA MEDICAL has decided to change its name to FILLMED. Read about the changes that await the company in connection with this on estet-portal.com.

40 years dedicated to aesthetic medicine and scientific beauty

FILOFILORGA MEDICAL has been designing, developing and offering anti-aging products for aesthetic medicine professionals since 1978. These products reverse the signs of aging and improve the quality of the skin. Over the years, the NCTF® and ART FILLER® have become the reference products for both experienced practitioners and newcomers to the beauty industry.

In 2019, FILLMED plans to make its own brand and be clearly distinguishable from the over-the-counter cosmetics that are available on the open market under the FILORGA brand.

New name – best approach

Didier Tabary took over as CEO of FILORGA in 2006 with ambitious plans to create a brand that combines cosmetics and aesthetic medicine (MEDI-COSMETIQUE®). It was a gamble, but it paid off.

FILLMED's new name also coincidentally coincides with a number of significant internal changes: a new board of directors, more medical experts being hired, new skills, and a fast pace of product development and clinical research.
Using a wealth of experience in skin care clinical research, using instrumental testing to validate efficacy, the company's injectables (Art Filler and NCTF) are clinically tested according to rigorous and innovative protocols designed to scientifically validate the efficacy and tolerability of each product.

They combine the traditional evaluation system (physician's visual evaluation) used by leading laboratories and innovative instrumental analysis (recently introduced in the medical field): optical wrinkle analysis and high-frequency ultrasound skin scanning to quantify collagen synthesis in the dermis after injections.

Skin thins with aging and it seems appropriate to focus the effectiveness of injectables on this problem.

Innovative treatment protocols

FILLMED is associated with standards of rejuvenation protocols that combine a variety of treatment options with a gentle, minimally invasive approach that produces natural-looking results.

FILLMED – It's about the uniqueness of the patient. The main mission of − not just to provide facial skin care or reduce wrinkles, but to give a person a sense of their uniqueness.
75% of women are concerned about the quality of their skin and 64% believe there is a discrepancy between how they feel and what they see in the mirror − tired, haggard face − a picture that does not reflect their individuality.

Based on the published and recognized Rosenberg scale (used to measure self-esteem), the survey shows that 68% of women experience increased self-esteem on average one month after injections.

Update: PEELS

Surface peels – this is the first step in aesthetic medicine as they prepare the skin for other treatments. By gently exfoliating the surface layer of the skin, the peeling stimulates cell renewal, improves complexion and restores skin radiance.

Fillmed offers a range of 3 peels:

•    TIME PEEL – eliminates wrinkles, flabbiness and sagging of the skin;

•    LIGHT PEEL – fights fine lines and dull complexion;

•    BRIGHT PEEL– eliminates age spots and uneven complexion.

The range of superficial peels contains gluconolactone in combination with other fruit acids to increase effectiveness and tolerability
