Awakening has long been attributed to the cause of human success and vitality. Many people have already changed their sleep patterns and claim that this has changed their lives for the better. For example, blogger Egoza Eikhi became a morning person and identified 6 reasons that motivate him to wake up at 6 in the morning:

1. There is more time to be alone with yourself

To achieve success in this or that business, a person needs to set himself up, program, think everything over and focus on the main goals and actions. And since in the first half of the day the human brain works much more intensively than in the second, then this should be done in the morning. It is necessary to start the day by thinking about the upcoming actions, then the main goals come to the fore and will be fulfilled without fail.

2. There will be more time to plan the whole day

Making plans for tomorrow in the evening is unproductive, because at this time of day the brain is tired and wants to rest. You need to plan the day from the morning, before working hours. Then you will spend the day effectively completing your tasks.

3. In the morning you can have a great time for yourself

Many people are sorely lacking time for themselves, for family, for entertainment. Why not do everything in the morning that you don’t have time for in the evening? Go to a beauty salon or gym, go for a morning run, read something, or even do housework? Those who get up at 6 am have the opportunity to take time for themselves. In addition, when you are active in the morning, endorphins are released in the body, which give a feeling of cheerfulness and joy. And this is enough for the whole day to feel like a happy person.

4. There will be time for breakfast

Just like a car needs gas to run, your body needs proper nutrition to function properly. Based on a study by the Hopkins-Bloomberg School of Public Health, the most important meal of the day is breakfast, and skipping it is bad for your health. Waking up at 6 a.m., there is no way you can miss such an important meal.

5. Most successful people do just that

New York Magazine wrote about Jack Dorsey, the founder of Twitter, that he wakes up at 5:30 in the morning. Dorsey starts her day with a 10K run and meditation.

Apple CEO Tim Cook starts his day at 4:30 am by answering partner emails. And the founder of the Virgin Group, Richard Branson, in one of his interviews in Business Insider admitted that he is a supporter of early awakening in the morning. Branson wakes up at 5.45 in the morning and immediately works at the computer, and only after that does he have breakfast.

6. You can be a few steps ahead of everyone

Research has shown that waking up early helps you unleash your creativity. In addition, it increases self-esteem, because when everyone is still dozing, competitors are sleeping, then you are already working.

Following these principles, I trained myself to solve all the most unpleasant things before 8 in the morning. Thus, I live the whole day with a sense of accomplishment, and this energizes me. I also noticed that this daily routine reduces my anxiety throughout the day and increases my stress tolerance.

And most importantly – getting up only 2.5 hours earlier than usual every day, you get 150 minutes of working time, that is, 17.5 hours a week. And this is more than 70 hours a month, and 840 hours a year. To have or not to have so much extra time for yourself is up to you.
