Winter is always harder to wake up. But getting out of bed, getting ready and getting to work – it's half the battle. You still need to somehow work out the whole day, and constantly drink coffee – harmful. Instead of coffee, you should drink healthier, invigorating drinks, as well as eat energizing foods.


Coffee can be replaced with the following invigorating drinks:

  • Cold water. It is better to drink a glass of water immediately after waking up – this will help you wake up and start dormant body systems. Also, you can and should drink it throughout the day – so you protect yourself from dehydration and, accordingly, from the fatigue caused by it.
  • Green tea. He will not cheer up as quickly as coffee, but no worse. In addition, it contains antioxidants and other beneficial substances. However, do not forget that caffeine is also present in green tea.
  • Orange juice. Not necessarily orange and not necessarily juice. Citrus fruits are generally excellent invigorating due to the high content of vitamin C. Even the smell of citrus stimulates brain activity. Therefore, you can drink citrus juice (preferably freshly squeezed), add them to water or tea, and you can also just eat such fruits. Especially in winter – for the prevention of colds.

For a snack at work, you can choose the following fruits and berries:

  • Raspberries, blueberries and strawberries (not seasonal, of course, but insanely healthy).
  • Apples (contain boron, which will also help increase concentration, they are also good for teeth).
  • Bananas (a great source of energy for the brain).

And also:

  • Chocolate (a well-known endorphin stimulant and energy booster that will keep you energized for hours).
  • Nuts (Nuts are very nutritious and good for the brain. Remember that raw nuts are more beneficial than roasted ones).
  • Yogurt (magnesium is key to energizing the body in this product; it is better to choose yogurt without fillers, as they contain a lot of excess sugar).
  • Oatmeal (fiber – is the main benefit of one of the most popular breakfasts; in addition to being good for the digestive tract, it can also serve as a good source of energy).
  • Meat (unless, of course, you are a vegetarian). It is not that it is invigorating, but rather the fact that due to its slow processing by the body, energy is released more slowly and lasts for a longer time.
  • Eggs. No wonder scientists call bacon and eggs the perfect breakfast. This is exactly what the body needs to function properly. In addition, if you eat such a breakfast, hunger will not bother you soon, so you can work longer without constantly looking at your watch and without worrying about your stomach constantly reminding you of itself.
