Учёные-медики назвали список болезней, которые передаются по наследству

Heredity determines not only how we will look, but also what we can get sick with. A number of diseases are inherited, but we do not know about all of them. They can be passed down both male and female lines. Hereditary diseases are not necessarily 100% likely to manifest themselves, but the risk is great. Therefore, the editors of estet-portal.com will tell you how to significantly reduce the likelihood of a hereditary disease.

Inherited diseases: osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis

These diseases are considered age-related, but more and more often they affect younger people. Few people know that they are hereditary. That is, if one of your parents had a similar ailment, then there is a high risk of facing a similar problem with age.

Osteoporosis is more common among women – it is they who in most cases inherit it. Most often, the disease appears after the onset of menopause, when the body begins to lose calcium. Sometimes it happens before – it all depends on the lifestyle a person leads.

How to reduce the risk of osteoporosis:

Eat foods high in calcium

– they should be in the diet every day. Try to spend at least a little time in the sun, because it is its light that is needed for the absorption of calcium. However, sunbathing should not be abused either.

Rheumatoid arthritis

occurs due to disorders in the immune system. It also belongs to the group "hereditary diseases". Prevention of the disease consists in the absence of bad habits, regular visits to the dentist (gum disease plays a role in the appearance of the disease). Also in the diet should be a sufficient amount of vitamin C – they are needed as an antioxidant and a substance that reduces the risk of inflammation.  Hereditary diseases: cardiovascular

This refers to a whole group of diseases that affect the cardiovascular system. They are inherited – if one of the parents, for example, had a stroke, then the chances of a similar problem at a similar age are high.

Women who are overweight should be especially concerned. In most cases, it is they who inherit the disease from one of the parents.

Prevention of such problems looks like this:

daily try to move more, exercise regularly – at least a 30-minute exercise will be an excellent prevention;

  • reconsider your diet – it should not contain foods with a lot of cholesterol, fatty and fried foods, sweets, fast food;

  • switch to proper nutrition, in which everything is balanced and aimed at the health of the body;

  • if you have bad habits – smoking, drinking alcohol – refuse them, they only worsen the condition of the vessels and the heart.

changes in how you feel.  Inherited diseases: cancer

A person whose parents or one of them struggled with a cancerous tumor has a high risk of getting sick. This disease is very often inherited, especially breast and ovarian cancer. No wonder Angelina Jolie had her breasts and ovaries removed in 2013 to avoid the cancer her mother had. However, not everyone needs such radical action.

When talking about cancer in general, it cannot be somehow prevented by performing specific actions. The only thing you can do – it is to lead a healthy lifestyle, give up bad habits and be examined regularly. If we talk about breast or ovarian cancer, then such women are advised to think about having a baby before the age of 30.

Highlights – remember that hereditary diseases are highly probable but not guaranteed. The list of such diseases is long – ask your parents and grandparents. Be alert, warn yourself – because you have been warned. Remove provoking factors – and you have a high chance of avoiding possible health problems.
