The sun is shining outside, and you are sitting in a stuffy office and looking at the computer screen. At such moments, people are often visited by thoughts about whether to send everything and run away somewhere into nature. Unfortunately, or fortunately, such thoughts rarely become a guide to action. But, they don’t go anywhere and develop into the so-called spring blues, which visits people on the eve of summer. Today the editors of Estet-portal will tell you how to deal with it using 4 simple rules.
Rule #1: Don't work weekends
Modern pace of life rarely allows people to forget about work. After all, you have to pay for everything and a person takes on a lot of work, trying to earn as much money as possible. Of course, our realities are such that it is almost impossible to live without money. But remember that you still can’t earn all the money, and nerves are much more expensive. Our body and mind need rest. Therefore, our first rule is to refuse to work on weekends. It is best to spend this time on what you have been missing all week: a walk in the fresh air or a train out of town with friends. It doesn't matter what you do – the main thing is not to work.
Rule #2: Do what you love
This is the rule, as emerges from the previous one. After all, it takes time to do what you love. Of course, there are people whose hobby is part of their work, but believe me, even such people should have some other hobby. If you do not have it, then you should acquire a similar occupation. Moreover, depending on your choice, you may have the opportunity to do it not only on weekends. For example, you love to knit. Coming home from work, you can sit comfortably in front of the TV and tie a little. This will help you relax and not think about work. A hobby is always a distraction.
Rule #3: Get new experiences
A very interesting and sometimes even exciting rule. Of course, it does not mean that every week you need to skydive or go to a new country. So, no money and nerves will not suffice. But, nevertheless, you need to get new emotions, as they will allow you to take a different look at the environment around you. An option for getting new experiences can be meeting new people or exploring the surrounding area. In addition, new experiences can be well-forgotten old ones. Think about how long ago you were in the circus? What about a theater or a museum? Most likely, the answer is obvious – a long time ago.
In order to warm up these impressions and make them even more enjoyable, arrange with friends or colleagues that on one of the days you will go to the museum with a group, and on the other day – to the theatre. The benefits of such communication, reinforced by new impressions, will be enough to keep you warm until the next cultural trip.
Rule #4: Take care of your health
If all the other rules were mainly aimed at your emotional state, then the last, but very important, rule is aimed at the state of health. Remember one simple truth, most likely you have already heard it, all the stresses that you experience affect your body. And please note, not in the best way. Therefore, you should do the following:
1. Go for a preventive examination to narrow specialists: an ophthalmologist, dentist, ENT specialist, endocrinologist, gynecologist or urologist.
2. Pass all the basic tests, as well as those that may be prescribed by specialist doctors.
3. If you have chronic diseases, be sure to visit your doctor.
Besides, it is worth worrying about the health of your skin, hair and nails, which also suffer greatly from stress. Therefore, a visit to the spa or beauty treatments at home will also not be superfluous.
The editors of Estet-portal sincerely hope that you will accept our rules as a guide to action and this will help you get rid of the spring blues and all its signs. Of course, we understand that everyone's situations are different, but everyone always needs to remember that life – this is the most precious thing a person has and should not be spent on a game of racing.
