Cleansing the lymphatic system: improving the body's sewage system

Очищение лимфатической системы: улучшаем работу канализации организма

Our well-being and state of health depend on the coherence of the body systems. One of the most important systems in our body is the lymphatic system. Detox – a natural and continuous process of removing toxins from the body that enter it with the inhaled air, food and water consumed, contained in cosmetics and formed as a result of the vital activity of cells.

To maintain optimal health, this process must be carried out properly. Cleansing the lymphatic system naturally will help increase its efficiency – removing waste from every cell of the body and regulating the immune system.

Lymphatic Cleansing: It all starts with nutrition

Lymphatic vessels run parallel to the blood vessels and serve to remove harmful substances that interfere with the normal functioning of cells (and, accordingly, the whole body), along with the lymph flow.

Lymphatic system – our body's waste disposal system.

In our time, the human lymphatic system, in addition to removing waste generated inside the body, must deal with the neutralization of harmful substances that enter the body from the outside: from food, water, air, etc.

Cleansing the lymphatic system will help optimize its work and more effectively remove unnecessary substances from the body. The body's ability to eliminate toxic substances originates in the digestive system, more specifically in the small intestine. The lactiferous vessels in the villi are part of the lymphatic system, which carries nutrients and fat-soluble toxins away from the intestinal wall.

If the intestines are clogged, lymph and white blood cells may not be able to properly detoxify.

The highest concentration of lymph is found in the walls of the intestine and is called intestinal-associated lymphoid tissue.

Therefore, in order to help the lymphatic system, you must first of all monitor the health of the intestines. To do this, you need to adhere to a healthy diet and avoid frequent constipation.

Beneficial effect on the condition of the intestines and lymphatic system:

  • fruits and vegetables (raw);
  • linseed oil;
  • nuts;
  • avocado etc.

The following foods should be avoided:

  • artificial sweeteners;
  • sugar;
  • meat in large quantities;
  • processed products;
  • excessively salty foods;
  • candy and flour.

Other Effective Ways to Cleanse the Lymphatic System

Proper nutrition – the number one condition for beauty, healthy weight, well-being and the prevention of any disease. Maximum raw, unprocessed plant foods, meat in moderation, and minimization of sweets, preservatives, baked goods, and other processed foods – general recommendations that are suitable for almost every person these days.

However, proper nutrition is not enough to cleanse the lymphatic system.

Lymph cleansing is combined with the following methods:

  1. Drinking enough water. This rule applies to each person, however, the amount of water required by the body varies depending on weight, level of physical activity, health status and external factors ( e.g. temperature).
  2. Deep breathing. Supply of oxygen to cells and stimulation of lymph flow – main benefits of deep breathing techniques.
  3. Lymphatic drainage massage. Properly performed lymphatic drainage massage helps to disperse the lymph and improve the functioning of the lymphatic system. It is recommended to do this massage every six months. An important feature of the massage for cleansing the lymphatic system is its direction – according to the lymph current, i.e. from bottom to top (starting from the limbs), as well as "bypass" lymph nodes.

The lymph flow is unidirectional (lymph flows from bottom to top).

  1. Dry brushing. This treatment is done before showering with a dry brush. Massage of the skin with a brush is performed in the direction from the limbs to the heart for about 5 minutes. This procedure improves blood circulation and lymph flow, and effectively cleanses the skin, allowing it to look healthy and beautiful.
  2. Contrast shower. Such a shower helps to keep the blood and lymphatic vessels in good shape. Plus, a contrast shower – A great way to recharge your batteries for the whole day. This procedure is contraindicated for pregnant women and people suffering from diseases of the cardiovascular system.
  3. Natural cosmetics. Try to choose organic cosmetics with a minimum content of preservatives and other chemicals. The best way to keep your skin in good condition is with natural homemade products.
  4. Yoga. Inversion yoga poses such as downward facing dog, headstand etc. excellent effect on the state of the lymphatic system.

    Я не согласна с описаной техникой массажа. С перва нужно очистить лимфа узлы, а лишь потом подовать лимфу с низу в верх. Куда лимфе течь, если если на верху уже забито?
