To study the effectiveness of insulin pumps, a prospective observational study was conducted at two centers in the United Arab Emirates in patients with type 1 diabetes who were ready to switch from multiple daily subcutaneous insulin injections to integrated insulin pump systems using a bolus calculator and releasing insulin via remote control.
