Tom Sawyer's invaluable store of knowledge contained a 100% wart remover. The main character of Mark Twain's novel was sure that for this it was necessary "to go to the fresh grave of a bad person with a dead cat at night, and when the devils come for him, throw a stiff cat after him with the words:" The devil is after the dead man, the cat is after the devil, warts behind a cat, — that's the end of it, all three off me! Of course, such superstitions have no place in modern life. However, one should not deny the folk methods of treatment, which — believe it or not — are excellent wart removers.

 Folk treatments for warts: onion, garlic and bite

Method #1. Garlic has a bactericidal effect due to its composition of more than 400 active phytonutrients. This explains its ability to destroy various microbes and pathogenic viruses.
Garlic tincture with vinegar. Chop a couple of peeled cloves garlic, pour 0.5 cups of natural vinegar. Close the lid tightly and let it brew for two weeks. Wipe the warts with the resulting infusion twice a day.
Garlic ointment. Mince a few peeled garlic cloves. 1 tsp mix the resulting mixture with 1 tsp. melted lard. Pour in 4 tsp. vinegar. Apply the mass to the wart, fix and leave overnight. Repeat the procedure until the warts are removed.

Method # 2. Natural vinegar contains more than 60 different natural acids, which allows it to cleanse the skin from various neoplasms.

When using vinegar, you need to be careful: after applying it, a small pink mark remains on the skin.

Acetic ointment. Knead the dough with flour and vinegar. Roll out a small cake. Apply to the problem area and secure with a band-aid. Use daily until warts.

  • To prevent acetic acid from burning through healthy skin, you should make a slit in the band-aid the size of a wart. Stick on the body and then apply the ointment to the desired area.

Method number 3. Onion kills bacteria and has a regenerating effect on the skin.

Onion ointment. 1 tsp mix onion juice with 1 tsp. honey. Apply the resulting mass to the wart and fix with a plaster. Carry out the procedure daily, until the warts are completely removed.

Onion compresses. Cut the onion and insist 2 hours in a bite. Use an onion as a compress at night.

How to prevent warts:

  • wash your hands thoroughly with soap;
  • treat cuts and scrapes to prevent penetration of papilloma virus;
  • wear special shoes when visiting beaches, swimming pools, saunas;
  • Avoid wet shoes.

 Healing herbs are effective when used systematically

Method number 4. Healing herbs (aloe, celandine, delphinium, etc.) are favorites of folk methods of treatment. However, their effectiveness is achieved only under the condition of systematic use.

Aloe Vera — an indispensable tool in the treatment of skin diseases. Possessing bactericidal properties, it simultaneously helps to slow down skin aging, for which it is actively used in the production of various cosmetics.

  • Twice a day, rub the warts with a cut of fresh aloe until they completely disappear.

Celandine is popularly called a warthog for its toxicity and ability to rid any skin formations (up to eczema and even cancer cells).

  • Warts should be treated with fresh celandine juice picked during the flowering period.

Delphinium (larkspur) has a powerful antiparasitic effect and is used for skin diseases.

  • Chop dry delphinium grass. Apply it to warts until they disappear.

Kalanchoe is called the tree of life for a reason. Thanks to its flavonoids and organic acids, it promotes the healing of wounds, even as severe as trophic ulcers, and at the same time helps to get rid of neoplasms.

  • Chop the Kalanchoe leaves. Lubricate the wart with the resulting gruel, fix with a plaster and leave overnight.

Medicinal herbs and plants that help remove warts:

  • rowan fruits;
  • dandelion leaf juice;
  • horseradish leaf juice;
  • juice of calendula stems and leaves;
  • a decoction of wormwood;
  • fresh apple juice;
  • wood ash paste.

Method number 5. Essential oil is an excellent natural antiseptic. And its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties can clear the skin.

Tea Tree Oil — one of the most effective in removing warts.

  • Dilute tea tree oil in equal proportions with water or olive oil. Lubricate the warts with the resulting solution twice a day.

Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which cleanses the skin and prevents the formation of wrinkles.

Healing paste based on castor oil. Add a few drops of castor oil to a pinch of baking soda. Apply the resulting slurry to the problem area, strengthen with adhesive tape and leave overnight.
