In the life of every person, the morning comes when the body begins to take revenge for the fact that the night before it was mercilessly poisoned with alcohol. And this revenge is truly terrible – hangover syndrome spares no one. It happens that, despite all the efforts to drink less, a person still sorts out, and the consequences are not long in coming. Not everyone has the opportunity to improve their health with a fresh soup, a fragrant brine, or even a hangover remedy stored in a first-aid kit, and there can be no talk of going to the store.

Hangover hot spots: step 1 – find the end point of the meridian

This "ritual" carried out on active points located on the second ("index") toe.

The active point we need is located just below the nail of the second toe (see fig) – it represents the end point of the meridian of the stomach and is called Li-dui.

Meridian of the stomach – it is the path of energy that runs through your stomach.

In a hangover syndrome, this pathway is blocked, and the stomach experiences a lack of fluid.

To get rid of a hangover syndrome, you need to stimulate this active point in order to free the path for the flow of energy.

Step 2 – stimulation of the stomach meridian as a cure for a hangover  

Using one finger, press (firmly, but not too hard) on the Li-dui point and massage it in a circular motion for two minutes in a clockwise direction, and then – counterclockwise (also for 2 minutes).

First, massage the indicated active point on the right leg, then – on the left. Repeat the massage if necessary.

Put your wrists under the water.

This method is great if the person is still drinking, but has already drunk too much and feels unwell.

If you're a bit overwhelmed, just put your wrists under cold water and hold them under running water for 3 minutes.

For hangovers, this trick will help cool the body from the inside and ease the discomfort. Simply place your wrists under cold running water for 30 seconds – 3 seconds – 3 minutes.

What to do with a hangover headache

Hangover and headache – inseparable friends. It is the headache that makes any sound unbearable, does not allow you to raise your head from the pillow and leaves only one question in your head: “How to survive?”.

The advantage of this technique is that you do not need to make unnecessary movements, reeking of a hundredfold pain in your head, in order to feel better.
